Plural, founded by Ian Hogarth, Sten Tamkivi, Taavet Hinrikus and Khaled Helioui, announced it has raised €250 million for its first fund, aimed at investing in European technology start-ups.

The aim of Plural is to become hands-on investors, focusing on early-stage rounds between €1 and €10 million for startups that are tackling climate change, creating new health care solutions, or experimenting with decentralized governance through blockchain technologies.

In terms of the portfolio, Plural has already invested in 14 startups, including NFTPort, Feather, Ready Player Me, and MOS.
