Slack, a company focused on team communication, has announced a $100 million venture fund. Slack's third fund is the largest since it launched six years ago, having doubled in capacity from $25 million to $50 million and doubled again to $100 million.

Slack Fund looks to the future of work, seeking novel approaches to human challenges—such as collaboration, wellness and hardware.

Since 2015, Slack fund has invested in nearly 100 companies, including Loom, Pitch, 1Password, Hopin, Donut and Daily, which have raised over $5.5 billion in total funding.

“We want to be on the radar of any entrepreneur who is driving the next wave of future-of-work startups.” — Jason Spinell, Head of Slack Fund
